According to the City of Rome Police Department, officers were dispatched on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at approximately 7:42 AM to 506 Erie Boulevard West—Stewarts Shops—for reports of a dispute involving multiple individuals.

When officers arrived on scene, they determined the situation was domestic in nature. Police report that during the incident, a 19-year-old male allegedly struck a 16-year-old female.
