Let’s stop dancing around this one.
A little boy named Hunter Degroat lost his life back in August of 2022 in Johnstown. At the time, folks were told very little. Now years later, New York State Police have officially ruled his death a homicide.
That means what happened to that child wasn’t an accident.
And yet here we are… no arrest.
Now here’s where things take a turn.
TVOTT Hillbilly News has been made aware of information from someone with potential firsthand knowledge of what was going on inside that home before Hunter died. Because this is an active homicide investigation involving a child, we are not releasing identities or specific allegations at this time.
But we will say this much.
What we are hearing lines up with the kind of questions this community has been asking since day one.
Was this preventable?
Who was responsible for that child at the time?
And why, after all this time, is there still no one held accountable?
We’re not here to throw names around and start Internet rumors. That ain’t how we do things. But we are here to say this loud and clear:
Somebody knows what happened to that boy.
And if you were there, if you saw something, or if you kept quiet back then, now’s the time to fix that.
New York State Police are still asking for information in this case. If you know anything, no matter how small you think it is, speak up.
Because staying quiet doesn’t protect a child.
It protects whoever hurt him.
And that ain’t right.
