Poland, NY — More concerns are coming out of Poland Central School District, and this time they’re coming directly from inside the school.

An anonymous student reached out to TVOTT Hillbilly News claiming that during the night of a recent school musical, a teacher allegedly shoved a phone into a student’s chest. At this time, the full details and context of that situation remain unclear, and the claim has not been independently verified.

Beyond that alleged incident, the student described a pattern of how issues between students are handled — and according to the report, it’s making things worse, not better.

“They say they will handle things, but all they do is put you on the spot,” the student said, referring to being placed face-to-face with the person they’re having issues with.

The student also claims that multiple students, both in middle school and high school, have reached a point where they felt leaving school was their only option due to ongoing unresolved problems.

Another concern raised involves how students are spoken to when they are upset. According to the report, students having a difficult moment are sometimes told they have “anger issues” and are advised to “find something outside” to deal with it — something the source described as dismissive rather than supportive.

Additionally, the student alleges that a teacher was witnessed speaking negatively about a student in front of another student, raising further concerns about professionalism and student trust within the school environment.
