VERONA, NY — A serious motor vehicle accident at the intersection of State Route 365 and State Route 31 in Verona has left an 85-year-old woman injured, with reports confirming she was entrapped inside her vehicle during the incident.

Emergency crews from New York State Police (Oneida), the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, Verona Fire Department, Vineall Ambulance, and New York State Environmental Conservation Police all responded to the crash.

According to initial reports, responders were required to perform extrication to safely remove the woman from the vehicle. She was then transported for medical treatment. Her current condition has not been officially released.
